Even though my husband and I are enjoying (more like getting sick of) 90 degree hot sunny weather here in Kentucky – many of my friends and family are dealing with Hurricane Irene.
Just two weeks ago I posted about a huge storm we had and a 27 hour long blackout – so I can relate to that anxiety and frustration that comes along with no electricity…
My friend just told me moments ago that all day long they have been “waiting” for the storm to come.
So, for all those who are feeling anxious, jittery, on edge or any type of anxiety from the weather, I am linking to an article I got today about this very thing: (Click the link)
One of the methods this article suggests using is called EFT. I never blogged about this yet – but trust me, it’s on my “To Blog List.” Very briefly, EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. It is used for a wide variety of issues, and is an excellent tool in the face of fear, anxiety, or other emotional situations.
Feel free to check out the link and see if it (and their other suggestions) can work for you… And if you are interested you can check out EFT at: www.EFTUniverse.com
I hope you are all safe and dry indoors…
